I Love the Ring My Boyfriend Secretly Designed, But I Might Cry Over the Prongs.

My boyfriend and I went to the UK for a vacation this summer and decided to do some fun ring browsing. I went into total detail describing my ideal ring to the jeweler, and we left it at that. What I did not know is that my amazing boyfriend secretly paid for the jeweler to create the exact ring I described. I was completely shocked when I found out. He does not know I have seen the final result, and I am mostly ecstatic, but I have a major, silent issue. I am about 85% satisfied. I never specified wanting round prongs, and they are really bothering me. I thought the default setting for a stone this style was generally claw prongs. I am so grateful and would never say anything to him, but I cannot stop fixating on the round prongs. My question is for the jewelers and engagement ring experts out there. Since we live in the US and the ring was made in the UK, getting adjustments from the original shop is going to be incredibly difficult. Is this something I can easily get fixed or modified by a US jeweler later on. Or is there some secret benefit to round prongs that I am missing. Found a Bracelet in My Washing Machine. A Friend Says It Could Be Worth a Fortune

I'm in a new apartment and a few days ago, I found this bracelet tangled up in the washing machine. I didn't think anything of it, just put it aside and forgot about it. Today, I showed it to a friend and she told me it looked like it could be high karat gold. I got out a magnifying glass and found a stamp on it that says 99m. There's also some kind of maker's mark next to it that isn't in English. I have no idea what "99m" means. Does this mean this thing is 24 karat gold? My mechanic said I need a new tire, but he couldn't even tell me why

I took my 2012 Mazda 3 in for a look because it is making a clunking sound after I hit a jump. The mechanic said I needed a new control arm, which makes sense to me. But then he told me I also needed a brand new tire. I was pretty confused. The tires are only two years old and I can't see anything wrong with them. I asked the mechanic what the problem was and he just ran his hand over it and said he could "feel it." He gave me no other explanation. I also thought the price was ridiculous. He said it would be $150 for just one tire. I paid about $300 for a whole set of them on sale at Walmart. This is not a dealership either, just a new random guy I've never seen before. 😡😡 I let my new neighbors use my parking spot. They responded with 10 complaints!!

I have lived on the top floor of my apartment building for four quiet years. A week ago, a new couple moved in diagonally across the hall. I even let them use my reserved spot to make their moving day easier, which is the neighborly thing to do. Yesterday, the apartment manager stopped me and said they had already filed complaints about me. We are talking "nine complaints" —multiple phone calls, emails to the office, and even emails to corporate. They are telling management I am smoking pot, having loud parties, and making the entire place smell. This is completely untrue. I smoke, but never inside my apartment. I also rarely even play my TV for more than an hour a day, and I am a grandfather of twelve. I do not smoke weed and I certainly do not throw loud parties! I felt bad and bought some wall scents, thinking maybe my smoky clothes bothered them. But then I walked outside my door and saw a massive tray of baking soda placed right there. That was my first hint they are completely unhinged. I have been a renter for 30 years and have never dealt with this kind of neighbor war.
