Found a Bracelet in My Washing Machine. A Friend Says It Could Be Worth a Fortune
I'm in a new apartment and a few days ago, I found this bracelet tangled up in the washing machine. I didn't think anything of it, just put it aside and forgot about it. Today, I showed it to a friend and she told me it looked like it could be high karat gold. I got out a magnifying glass and found a stamp on it that says 99m. There's also some kind of maker's mark next to it that isn't in English. I have no idea what "99m" means. Does this mean this thing is 24 karat gold? Since you found it in an apartment complex has it even dawned on you to try to find the owner? Of course not all your concerned about is how much money you can get for it. It might be a family heirloom or have some sentimental to the person who lost it.

FYI They don't make jewelry out of 24K gold. Pure gold is far too soft and pliable to be worn.

I just lost a piece of jewelry that I’ve had for 50 years and my heart is broken. My neck actually feels empty… If that makes any sense. Hopefully someone will come forward to claim it.
