why is being alone a sign of weakness? I actually think it's the opposite,a sign of strength, we don't depend on anyone to cook clean help out financially,and being with someone isn't a sign of weakness either, it's a choice that a person makes on how to live there lives, and I'm certain the ones that chose to be alone at one time tried the relationship and figured out they were better off alone, they both have there ups and downs, happiness and peace come to everyone in different ways has nothing to do with strength or weakness

I'm recently separated. after 13 years. and before that was a 5 yr and before that a 11 year. I've been with a woman for most of my life. I don't know how to be alone and it's kinda frightful. Not only did I devote my life to a woman and family but I neglected friendships while concentrating on family. Now what? Yeah it's scary.

Look within

There's loneliness and then there's LONELINESS. It's a different type of loneliness when you feel like you're not supposed to be here on earth. Walking among other humans. Like you don't fit in. I guess you could say, that it feels like you're an alien that is from another planet and you just want to go home and be with the ones who are like you and that you are connected to. But you're stuck on this planet with these humans that you can't feel connected to and that you don't understand. I'm not sure how to better explain that feeling other than feeling like an alien on a foreign planet with the human race of which you do not belong to. 😆
