I didn't think anything of it, just put it aside and forgot about it. Today, I showed it to a friend and she told me it looked like it could be high karat gold. I got out a magnifying glass and found a stamp on it that says 99m. There's also some kind of maker's mark next to it that isn't in English. I have no idea what "99m" means.
