Seeking and Finding God In the Old Testament, God’s presence and His relationship with His people was mediated through priests and the temple system. The people of God worshiped God and prayed to Him, but it was the priests who would enter a sacred space and speak with God on their behalf. They revered God, but they were still separated from Him. However, the prophet Jeremiah wrote about a time when God’s people would be able to experience a direct relationship with Him. God’s Spirit would dwell in them, and they could find Him anywhere at any time. Through Jesus, Jeremiah's prophecy was fulfilled. Jesus sent the Spirit of God to dwell within us, to have access to God’s presence at any time. This means that God is never far from you—just like it says in Jeremiah 29:13, He can be found when we seek Him. He is present and ready for a relationship with you. Jeremiah also says that we must seek God with all of our heart. We don't just seek God, He seeks us as well. When you pursue a relationship with God, He wants access to every part of you. The way you think, the way you act, and even the way you feel. He wants to transform your entire life. At first, it may seem hard to give God access to our past, or the things we’re ashamed of. But God is full of grace and mercy, and He wants us to be free from those things. Seeking God with all of your heart may feel risky at times, but we can trust He knows best and will love us regardless of what we’ve done. Ask God to reveal within you any part of your life that you haven’t surrendered to God. Pray for the strength and courage to give all of your life to God. Continue to seek Him and follow Him each and every day.

good morning wherever you’re at in this world, you have a blessed day wow God was speaking to me this morning through the scripture let go of the weight and run with it. Let go of your bad habits and sins that are holding you back there’s nothing holding me back for running with God, but I have a bad habit and it’s called smoking a vape. I went from smoking a cigarette smoking a vape and I wanna get rid of this bad habit. I wanna let go of this weight that’s on me and let God carry it. That’s what the scripture was saying to me so if you have some bad habits and you have a weight that’s when you’re back carrying you down, let go of it and let God on that note everyone have a good day and please pray for me as I will pray for you. God bless you. #Hebrews_12_1

Jeremiah 29:13 “Then you will seek Me and find Me when you search for me with all your heart”. Jeremiah, the prophet, brings hard words to hear. God’s words… “Thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, to all the captives whom I have caused to be carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon”. The One Who commands the armies of heaven allowed Israel to be taken from the promised land to Babylon as captives. It would take three campaigns to penetrate the walls of Jerusalem and leave her people vulnerable. Those whose lives were not lost in battle were no longer free. God‘s hand of judgment for rebellion, idolatry and disobedience was heavy on the children of Israel. God’s message through Jeremiah told them to “build yourselves houses, and dwell in them; plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them. Take wives and have sons and daughters… Multiply there, and do not be diminished and seek the peace and welfare of the city to which I have caused you to be carried to wake captive, and pray to the Lord for it…”. He told them to get comfortable, live their lives and pray for those who ruled over them… to accept their discipline. God also told them to get rid of their false prophets… to clean up their act and seek Him. On a large scale, God’s setting them straight while revealing His sovereignty. It wasn’t as if they hadn’t been warned. When we see it all unfold, for a brief moment, our breath is taken away. We consider Israel’s tumultuous Exodus from Egypt, the book of Judges, Jerusalem‘s fall and see a historical pattern from the beginning of time even until now. And now, we let it get personal, do a work in our own heart. However we got here, the place where our sin and rebellion took us, it ends with His Grace, if we choose it. He tells us to get comfortable in our discipline, make the best of it, live our lives and ‘clean house’… surrender, submit to Him and His righteousness. We’re to seek Him with our whole heart and He promises we’ll find Him. ‘Feeling’ weak? S

You Don't Have to Be Strong Today. Really. You don't. Put down the weight you were never meant to carry. Stop pretending you have it all together. Stop telling yourself that resting is quitting, that slowing down is failing, that needing help means you're weak. You're not weak. You're human. And humans were never designed to carry everything alone. The pressure to be strong is a lie. It tells you that your value is in your output. That your worth is measured by how much you can handle. That God is more pleased with your striving than your stillness. But that's not the gospel. That's burnout dressed up as faithfulness. Jesus didn't say "come to me if you're strong enough to handle life." He said "come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Not "I'll give you more to do." Rest. Not "try harder." Rest. Not "prove yourself." Rest. So what if today, you just... stop? Stop performing. Stop hustling for approval. Stop measuring yourself against everyone else's highlight reel. Stop believing the lie that if you're not doing something, you're nothing. What if today, you let yourself be carried? Let Him hold the things you've been white-knuckling. Let Him be the strength you've been trying to manufacture. Let Him whisper over you what you've been trying to earn: "You are enough. You are loved. You don't have to prove anything." You don't have to be strong today. You just have to be still. You just have to breathe. You just have to let Him be God—and let yourself be held. That's not weakness. That's surrender. And surrender is the strongest thing you can do. So rest. Recover. Receive. Let the pressure go. Let the mask fall. Let the weight lift. You were never meant to carry it alone. 🙏

At some point you realise… you weren’t asking for too much you were asking the wrong people you wanted consistency from someone who lives in excuses you wanted depth from someone who avoids themselves you wanted honesty from someone who only shows up when it benefits them and instead of questioning them you questioned yourself maybe im too much maybe i expect too much maybe i should just chill so you adjusted you became easier to love easier to ignore easier to keep around without being chosen and that’s where it cost you because the more you shrank the more they stayed the same until one day it clicks you were never hard to love you were just finally ready for a love that actually meets you and not everyone is capable of that so you stop over explaining you stop over giving you stop over staying and you start walking different not bitter not cold just clear and that kind of clarity changes everything
