Winter weather conditions leave back country roads covered without salt trucks or snow plows in several rural communities across Kentucky. Northern and Southern Small towns suffered as country roads were not cleared by county workers. Boone,Grant, Gallatin and Owen are just a few with lack of attention some back roads even some small residential back roads were left unattended while people couldn't get to grocery,doctors appointments or even work. citizens say It is the responsibility of county workers to salt and clear the road ways if they are paved. unpaved roads are also their responsibility but usually take longer to do.
