The Surprising Story Behind Yellow Lights

Ever wondered who came up with the yellow traffic light? Turns out, it wasn’t Garrett Morgan, even though he did invent a pretty cool traffic signal. The real credit goes to Detroit cop William Potts, who took inspiration from railroad signals and brought us the red-yellow-green combo we know today.
