Lynn+FollowPeople judging others for getting assistance is not right! It seems that most of you all have the answer.....work more. I've been on assistance.....working 40 hours a week (that wasn't minimum wage). I got a whole $24 a month for me and my child. It's not always people sitting there getting their nails done getting help (and so you really know how or why they are doing that). My boyfriend wanted my nails done, so he paid for it. Ya'll so quick to look down on people... but there are those who bust their hump trying to make ends meet and get off of assistance. It's not easy to do when there is one person (usually the mother) trying to take care of it all on her own (sometimes the father is a dead beat who doesn't pay child support and works under the table to avoid having his wages garnished--as what happened to me) when you all must know it takws at least 2 incomes to 'survive'. I'm one to usually keep my mouth shut, but damn.....it's getting too hard. Everyone has a story or going through something... instead of being so judgemental, try to wonder what they're going through. Lynn King+FollowPrayers for everyone My prayers are for everyone I don’t care about what color you are. Don’t care about what your religion is or anything else I pray for everyone. We are all scared with the shut down. We are all trying to make it. We are all trying to feed our families. Take it from me I’m disabled. I live month to month. People like me don’t have a nest egg to depend on . Me personally I get a little over 900 a month for my disability and I was getting 176$ in food stamps then for no reason they dropped it to 70$ in food stamps. How do I pay for food and bills for a month and not go without something I need. And I know many other people on disability with kids our older people who is going to help us. The politicians don’t care they have money they have food and medicine. It’s the lower income people who will suffer .and they will take keep making us suffer and we don’t have a voice in anything. So who is going to help us govern Andy badger or Matt Bevin mayor Greenberg . And what are we going to do for the holidays that are coming. So yeah I’m praying for everyone strangers friends family the farmers working on the land everybody even people walking down the street I pray for you . Right now we need to lean on our faith and pray for our neighbors family and friends. We have to come together because no one is going to save us #SurvivingOnFoodStamps 61351Share
