Ocean Tornadoes Are Trapping Plastic?!

Scientists just found out that swirling underwater 'tornadoes' (aka ocean eddies) are sucking up microplastics and trapping them deep below the surface. These plastic whirlpools could be why so much trash never gets cleaned up. Even crazier, the plastics don’t move exactly like water, so they end up in weird places.
