THEY LET THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN BE GROOMED & TRAFFICKED The Rotherham Grooming Scandal Part II

UK Pakistani Grooming Gang Scandal Behind the statistics are heartbreaking stories of children whose lives were shattered. Victims, girls aged 11-16 from vulnerable backgrounds, endured unimaginable horror. Here’s a glimpse into what they went through, drawn from disturbing survivor accounts. Sarah Wilson was groomed at 11. Abusers started with alcohol and cannabis, then raped her in a playground. By 12, she lost her virginity in a car; at 13, addicted to cocaine they supplied, she was trafficked across the UK. In one night, dozens of men raped her on a dirty mattress in a dark room—she focused on a cobweb to dissociate. Beatings left black eyes; she was held by the throat until passing out. Threats included petrol dousings and guns. Police saw her naked in bed with abusers but walked away, calling her a “dirty little prostitute.” Sammy Woodhouse, groomed at 14, thought her 24-year-old abuser was a boyfriend. He bought gifts, then escalated to daily violence: headbutting, dragging her to cliff edges threatening murder-suicide, anal rape she hated but was guilted into. Locked up like a “sex doll,” she contracted STIs, had a forced abortion at 14, and was pregnant again at 15. Police arrested her for his crimes, ignored family reports, and let him terrorize her post-jail with arson threats. Jessica, also 14, was lured into a car; abuse turned violent with headbutts. Her dad reported four times—cops dismissed her as a “slapper.” Emma, 12, got alcohol/drugs from “friends,” then weekly rapes; abusers threatened to rape her mom, forcing compliance. An anonymous victim, from 11, faced dozens of attacks in locked homes with “filthy” men; police said she “asked for it.” Many were trafficked, beaten, and silenced with family threats. Survivors lived with lifelong PTSD, self-harm, eating disorders, stigma, and suicide. These aren’t isolated. There was Telford (1,000+ victims), Bradford, etc. #ChildTraffickingAwareness #Immigration #Politics #GroomingAwareness

We can welcome new people and protect our communities

I know the topic of immigration gets people heated, but I honestly think we can hold two thoughts at once: — Yes, we need laws and borders. — And yes, we can still treat people like human beings. My grandparents came here with nothing but a suitcase and an accent. They worked factory jobs, learned English, paid taxes, and raised a family. Every generation after them had a better shot — because someone let them in. Now I see folks arriving today, often fleeing real danger, and I can’t help but think: this is the same story, just a different time. We don’t have to choose between compassion and safety. We can build systems that do both. It’s easy to say “America first,” but part of what made America great in the first place was that it wasn’t afraid to open the door. #ImmigrationPolicyNow #ImmigrationMatters #Immigration
