I Thought I Could Save $120 on an Oil Change. Now I'm Looking at a $6,000 Bill

I just bought a brand-new Mazda CX-90. It was a huge purchase, and I wanted to be smart with my money. My dealership charges about $120 for a synthetic oil change, which I figured was way too much. How hard could it be to do it myself and save some cash? Well, it turns out, it's pretty hard. I went to jack up the car to get to the oil pan. It seemed like the perfect spot, so I put the jack right there. However, the oil pan on this model is a key structural part of the engine, and I cracked it. I literally jacked up a 4,000-pound vehicle by a part that's not supposed to be touched. I'm now looking at a 30-hour repair job that's going to cost me thousands of dollars. Found This at a Yard Sale. Am I a Bad Person for Keeping It? 😳

I happened to stop by a yard sale right after it was over, and everything left was free for the taking. It looked like a family was clearing out their mother's old stuff, so there was a ton of old belongings. I grabbed a few things. Long story short, I got home and opened up the box. It held three smaller boxes. The first one had some old Boy Scout pins, and another had two sets of very nice earrings. The third one had a vintage-looking ring with a 14k marking and some other engraving. It was clearly not something that was meant to be given away for free 😱😳 I have been so conflicted about what to do ever since. On one hand, I could leave a note for the family saying I think something was accidentally given away. On the other hand, it would be easy to just keep it and get the ring sized for my daughter one day. I feel pretty awful just for considering that, but I have no idea how to handle this. My late grandma worked at a British munitions factory. So why did she have this bracelet with a symbol like THIS???

My British grandmother died before I was born. I inherited some of her belongings and was going through a box of her old things when I found this tiny bracelet. It’s a bit of a shock because it looks like it has a swastika on it. I do not think she was a Nazi. It also has a small flag on it with the letters "SHDG" and the word "monterosa." And if you need more information, I remember my grandfather served in the Canadian army in World War II and met her at a dance in Britain while she was working at an ammunitions factory. I am just hoping that I can find out what this is and figure out why she might have had it. My mechanic said I need a new tire, but he couldn't even tell me why

I took my 2012 Mazda 3 in for a look because it is making a clunking sound after I hit a jump. The mechanic said I needed a new control arm, which makes sense to me. But then he told me I also needed a brand new tire. I was pretty confused. The tires are only two years old and I can't see anything wrong with them. I asked the mechanic what the problem was and he just ran his hand over it and said he could "feel it." He gave me no other explanation. I also thought the price was ridiculous. He said it would be $150 for just one tire. I paid about $300 for a whole set of them on sale at Walmart. This is not a dealership either, just a new random guy I've never seen before. Desperate for food ideas!! ADHD and living alone is destroying my diet

Just got diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago, and honestly, I am really struggling with feeding myself properly. There have been times I've gone two or three days just drinking protein shakes. I actually think that lack of nutrition caused a colon perforation, leading to a hospital stay and surgery. After that whole scare, I got terrified of not eating, and that's when the DoorDash addiction started. It's horrible. I'm ordering multiple times a day, racking up thousands in credit card debt. I'm so ashamed, and if I don't change something soon, I'll be in a hole too deep to get out of. On top of everything, my work schedule is insane. I switch from day to night shifts every six weeks, doing twelve-hour days. I'm always so tired it's impossible to build any kind of routine. So, for those of you who live alone, please share what you do for food. I tried HelloFresh, but it didn't stick.
