Jennifer Russell+FollowMy Beloved White Chairs Were Yellowing for Years. One Spray of This Stuff and They Look Brand New!!I bought these chairs years ago when I finally had a stable income, and they were my very first pieces of "grown up" furniture. I love them dearly. I always took the cushion covers off to wash, but the arms had yellowed pretty badly from body oils. I was so embarrassed about the state of these chairs. I used an extractor on them with all kinds of upholstery shampoos, but nothing worked. They always looked dirty despite my many attempts at cleaning, and I was about to banish them to the basement until I could afford to reupholster them. Then I remembered a recommendation for a Lipase based cleaner. Since the yellowing was clearly from body oils, I figured I had nothing to lose. I used the Ecomax spray, which I luckily had on hand. Here is the simple process that saved my chairs. I hit them with a heavy spray of Ecomax, let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes, and then extracted the heck out of it using warm water. They are like new!! The photos truly do not do justice to how bright they are now! #CleaningHacks #FurnitureRescue #BeforeAndAfter 22Share
