I’m a Christian. Not because everything happens on my timeline. Some prayers have been sitting in my heart for years. Some dreams feel delayed. Some healing feels slow. And in the waiting, doubt likes to whisper, ‘Did God forget?’ But then I remember: ‘The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you’ (2 Peter 3:9). He’s not late — He’s intentional. He’s not silent — He’s working behind the scenes. He’s not absent — He’s teaching me to trust the One who holds tomorrow. Waiting isn’t wasted when you’re waiting on the Lord. It’s where faith grows deeper roots. It’s where character is built. It’s where I learn that His timing is perfect, even when it hurts. So if you’re in a long season of waiting right now… Hold on a little longer. Plant your feet. Lift your eyes. The same God who was faithful in the past is still faithful in the middle of your wait. He sees you. He hasn’t forgotten. And when the time is right, you’ll look back and say, ‘It was worth the wait.’ ‘Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart’ (Psalm 27:14). You’re not forgotten. You’re being prepared. Keep waiting with hope. #WaitingOnGod #GodsTiming #FaithInTheWait #Psalm2714 #2Peter39 #NotForgotten
