Journalist and News casters mistakes and government restrictions. It is said that a journalist is a person who writes and report information, news and commentary for newspapers and other media outlets so it can be broadcasted. It is the art or science of gathering, selecting and passing information or ideas, intelligence or dissemination to the public. The journalist has a role in a community and has been given the power to publish articles, gather news. What I’ve noticed is that some of this journalist publish articles write news and gather information wich may be false either being bribed to publish the wrong thing or getting the wrong information without researching. 1. As a journalist you should research make sure the you are confident with the news you gather before publishing 2. You shouldn’t be bias. You shouldn’t take sides. Ie. your role model, Favourite celebrity or and body come out and says something you just believe it without investigating . Before publishing any information to the masses you should research hard, as wrong information may affect the real victim. As a student of journalism and media studies I’ve come to request for the government to allow us journalist to access some useful information. We have the right to those information. I am a 100level journalism student who want a clear road in her journey, I plead for my requests to be granted. I COME IN PEACE🙏 #Journalism #Government #NewsUpdate

Stateless in Paradise

Recently, while reading the news and scrolling through public comments, I was struck by how quickly misinformation turns into moral judgment—especially when the target is a woman of color and an immigrant. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has once again been subjected to recycled allegations and rumors about her personal life, amplified by political figures and online commentators. These claims—many of which have circulated for years and have been addressed or investigated—resurface conveniently during moments of political pressure elsewhere. This is not accidental. It is a familiar tactic: distract, deflect, and inflame. What is most disturbing is not only the rumor-mongering itself, but how eagerly some people accept it without evidence. Facts are optional; prejudice is not. The rush to judgment reveals less about Representative Omar and far more about those making the accusations. In the comment sections beneath these stories, I repeatedly saw one argument used as a blunt weapon: that only people born in the United States should be allowed to hold public office. The implication is clear—immigrants, especially immigrants of color, are forever suspect, forever foreign, and forever unworthy of trust. #Politics #Government #ilhanomar #prejudice #American #Congress
