CRESWELL MAN ARRESTED AFTER BARRICADE; EUGENE PAIR CAUGHT STEALING GAS IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS Lane County deputies arrested a Creswell man after he barricaded himself inside a shed south of town when deputies tried to contact him over an earlier trespass and vandalism case. After negotiations failed, deputies forced entry and took him into custody without injuries. While that call was still underway, deputies responded to a separate report in Glenwood, where an Eugene man and woman were caught siphoning gas from a business vehicle. Both had outstanding warrants, and deputies found a firearm during a search of the vehicle — despite the man being prohibited from possessing one. Lane County officials said staffing shortages required deputies to work extended overtime and credited Oregon State Police for assisting on the barricade call. #LaneCounty #OregonNews #BreakingNews #Creswell #Eugene #WLNN

Shock and Outrage After Decomposing Pets Found Inside Abandoned Damansara Damai Clinic A wave of shock and anger has swept across social media after disturbing photos emerged from an abandoned veterinary clinic in Damansara Damai. Animal activist Shima Aris revealed the discovery earlier this week, describing the scene as one of the most heartbreaking cases she has encountered. According to her account, the building was in complete disarray when she entered—equipment scattered, floors covered in debris, and a heavy odor in the air. It was inside this chaotic environment that she found the decomposing remains of a dog and a cat. Even more startling was the discovery of a lone surviving cat, traumatized and malnourished but clinging to life among the bodies. Shima noted that the animal’s condition suggested it had been trapped in the clinic for some time, without adequate access to food or water. The incident has sparked urgent calls for accountability and investigation. Residents and animal welfare advocates are demanding answers: Who operated the clinic? How long had the animals been left unattended? And why had no one intervened sooner? Authorities have yet to issue an official statement, but activists argue this could point to systemic neglect—not just by individuals but potentially by those meant to enforce animal welfare regulations. The tragedy raises broader questions about oversight of veterinary practices, abandoned properties, and animal protection laws. For now, the surviving cat is receiving care and rehabilitation. But for many, the emotional impact lingers. The photos circulating online have fueled a broader conversation about the responsibilities of pet owners, veterinarians, and the community at large. This developing story continues to unfold as activists push for legal action and improved animal rights enforcement. #DamansaraDamai #AnimalWelfare #AnimalCruelty #MalaysiaNews #BreakingNews #ViralNews #PetRescue

#BreakingNews Two teens who deliberately hit and k*lled a retired Police Chief were sentenced to up to life in prison #lasvegas Two young men who deliberately hit and ki*led a retired California police chief while on a crime spree in 2023 were sentenced in what prosecutors described as the maximum penalty allowed under Nevada law for offenders who were juveniles at the time. #news Jesus Ayala, now 20, received a sentence of 20 years to life in prison, while Jzamir Keys, now 18, was sentenced to 18 years to life. Both will be eligible for parole after serving the minimum terms, because the state doesn't allow juveniles to be sentenced to life without parole. #ChristinaAguayoNews The pair pleaded guilty in October to second-degree m*rder with use of a deadly weapon in the death of Andreas "Andy" Probst, a 64-year-old retired police chief from Bell, California. Additional charges included battery with a deadly weapon. Key facts from the case: 🔵On August 14, 2023, Ayala and Keys, then 17 and 16, stole a Hyundai Elantra and went on a rampage, intentionally hitting two bicyclists in northwest Las Vegas. 🔵Video evidence captured by Keys showed the defendants laughing as Ayala swerved to hit Probst from behind while he rode in a bike lane, killing him instantly. 🔵The same spree included hitting another bicyclist who survived and other vehicle thefts and crashes. 🔵In prior court appearances the pair didn't show any remorse, but instead giggled and flipped off the victims family. During the sentencing iJudge Jacqueline Bluth said there was "no excuse" for the pain caused. Probst's widow, Crystal Probst, and children delivered emotional victim impact statements, describing the family's permanent devastation and the added trauma of the recorded m*rder.
