Stray cat needs a loving home ASAP

A sweet, cuddly stray cat is in urgent need of a safe place to stay after being found last Friday. The person who rescued the cat is heading out of town tomorrow and can’t keep it, and local shelters have shockingly suggested just putting the cat back outside. With cold weather and no microchip, that feels like a harsh option. Some neighbors are stepping up, offering to help find a shelter or even foster the cat temporarily.
