End of the month

It was the last week before benefits renewed. Shelves were cheaper. Carts were lighter. Then I saw one family still shopping freely. Full cart. Name-brand everything. I don’t know how long they’ve been on SNAP. I don’t know their situation. But I do know this system doesn’t feel the same for everyone.
