TV’s Abortion Storylines: Still Missing the Mark

Did you notice fewer TV characters actually having abortions this year? Turns out, only 37% of on-screen abortion plotlines showed characters going through with it—a 14% drop since 2023. Plus, most shows gloss over real-life struggles like cost, distance, or being a parent. And way too many stories push shame or ignore how common abortion really is.
