Jon Rivera+FollowNoah’s ark wasn't a cute zoo cruise (the actual physics are terrifying) ⛈️If you grew up in church, you probably had a nursery wall covered in cute murals of giraffes poking their heads out of a smiling wooden boat under a rainbow. We've totally sanitized the flood. I was reading Genesis 7, and it explicitly says "all the springs of the great deep burst forth." This wasn't just a heavy rainstorm. We are talking about global, subterranean reservoirs exploding through the earth's crust. Massive tectonic shifts, supersonic steam jets, tsunamis, and total geographical devastation. Noah and his family were locked in a pitch-black, pitch-sealed box while the entire planet was being physically torn apart by the wrath of the Creator. God’s judgment is terrifyingly real. But it makes the safety of the Ark—and the ultimate safety we have in Christ—feel infinitely more profound. #NoahsArk #BiblicalHistory #GodsPower #ScriptureTruth4820Share
Rachel Marie +FollowI finally looked up what angels actually look like (and i'm terrified) I used to think of angels as soft, chubby babies playing harps on clouds. It's a comforting image, but it's completely fabricated. I was reading through Ezekiel and Revelation, and the biblical descriptions are actually terrifying. Wheels within wheels covered in eves, four-headed creatures burning like hot coals, beings so overwhelming that their first words literally had to be "Do not be afraid" just so humans wouldn't faint We've watered down the spiritual realm to make it palatable. But realizing how fearsome God's messengers are actually brought me immense comfort today If this is what the army protecting us looks ike, the enemy doesn't stand a chance, Lord, thank You for fiercely guarding us #BiblicalAngels #SpiritualRealm #ScriptureTruth #GodsArmy81Share

The Verse You Skipped+FollowJudges 19 looked disturbing. I wanted to look away. Judges 19 is uncomfortable. Dark. Violent. Confusing. It doesn’t read like a “faith-building” chapter at all. I almost skipped it. But verse 30 changes how I see it. The outrage wasn’t ignored. Israel was forced to stop and ask, How did we get here? This chapter isn’t here to inspire. It’s here to warn. When God’s people stop listening to Him, when everyone does what is right in their own eyes, this is where it leads. Some chapters are not comforting. They are confrontational. I’m glad this one stayed in the Bible. It tells the truth about what happens when God is pushed aside. #BibleStudy #TheVerseYouSkipped #Judges #ScriptureTruth #FaithReflection #BibleReading307Share
