TlSME+FollowWell since I supposedly make to much on Social Security disability (they don’t count that $185 a month for Medicare, which is going to over $200 in January) I was getting a whopping $23 a month only because I was disabled. Really it sucks. It went up to$90 in October yet now there will be nothing for November. Guess I’ll keep eating pasta as I can make a bunch at once and eat for 3 days #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk00Share
Theda Hauffa+FollowIf the government has 10 billion for campa then they have the money for Snap and Medicaid. This is nothing more than Trump trying to control ppl. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk00Share

McGillicuddy Frank+Follow54% of SNAP recipients, according to official government data, are not American citizens. Remove them NOW, and save SNAP for Americans in need, and add a work requirement for able-bodied people. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk20Share
Florence Acquasanta+FollowI hear a lot of people tell me that the government is not gonna open back up, I’m just wondering what exactly are they trying to do? Are they gonna open back up or stay closed? #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk00Share
Jack Oswald White+FollowMore than 3/5 of the 40 million people on food stamps have JOBS. You're not paying for their food, you're paying their employer for their low wages. The rest are either disabled or too elderly to work. Even those who abuse the system do not drain a fraction of the amount of tax dollars that corporate welfare (subsidies) do. We will ALL eventually be unable to work at some point. Not all of us are so fortunate to be in a position to save enough money for retirement or potential disability that prevents us from working any more. Is it really asking too much for a system that relies on our labor, skill and consumption to give a little back? The whole point of living in a society is to benefit as a whole and ensure the survival of everyone. We are allowing the 1% to dictate what the 99% can have. Feeding children, regardless of the circumstances should ALWAYS be a top priority. Hunger is not a policy tool and people are not pawns on some imaginary political chess board. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk10Share
T K+FollowSnapI believe there are a lot of people that need assistance with food and other things like housing and health care. With that said I also think it would be worthwhile to make sure those that receive these benefits actually need them. I have not personally needed help from the government but knew people that did. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk50Share
