Nothing to Argue About

We are (or were) the richest country in the world. Nobody should be homeless or hungry, EVER! The Declaration of Independence states Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. So let's break that down Life = Healthcare is RIGHT. I cant live if im sick. Liberty = Enforcing the Bill of Rights. Free speech being #1. Pursuit of Happiness = liberty to make choices that serve your long-term interests, according to philosophers like John Locke; and as a public duty to ensure the conditions for happiness are possible for all citizens. All of these are systematically being taken away by YOUR PRESIDENT. We sit back and allow it. I just personally donated 4 full boxes of food to the local food bank to help do my part. We need to take care of each other. Don't depend on MAGA and big business helping you. A civil war is coming. Be vigilant and protect yourself, your friends and family from the desperation that drives people over the edge! The government fears one thing, the power of the people. Just the simple fact that people in the USA *NEED* food stamps is an abomination: this is due to many factors -- poverty, disability, no work skills, etc. The USA needs a different way to feed our people; perhaps making businesses pay a LIVING wage for that area / state would be a great start. My thought is there's 42 million Americans on this benefit. I forget how it breaks down. but I do remember that disability is before seniors. I think it should go children, seniors then disabled. The only reason I say it that way is I have come across people in my lifetime who claim "disability" Yet they can love kayaks on a truck, climb a tree shovel snow. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk

Food assistance is for people struggling. They didn’t design it for people to rely on it for years. They do not look at individual cases. Take myself for example.. my hometown has become one of the most expensive places to live. Everything is high. I am a single female who pays my own bills. They do not take into consideration car payments ( who doesn’t need a reliable car?) or car insurance ( yet the state requires it) that the gas in your car to get to work and back is now up to at least $3000 a year spent now. But they say you make too much. I work for the state. In June they started taking my ASRS ( state retirement) which is $436 I am now missing per month.. because I make too much.. yeah sure It is a bunch of bullshit #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk
