Loaded Chili Cheese Fries (Game-Day Style)
If you want a recipe that always blows up in comments, this is it. Chili cheese fries hit the American comfort-food nerve every single time. They’re messy, loud, and deeply satisfying.
Ingredients:
Frozen steak fries (1 bag)
Ground beef (1 lb)
Onion (½, diced)
Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
Canned crushed tomatoes (1 cup)
Kidney beans (½ cup, optional)
Chili powder (1 tbsp)
Paprika (1 tsp)
Cumin (1 tsp)
Salt & pepper
Shredded cheddar (1½ cups)
Green onions for topping
Sour cream (optional)
Steps:
Bake the fries according to package instructions until crisp. Meanwhile, heat a skillet and brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat. Add onion, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Stir in tomatoes and beans. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until thick.
Once the fries are ready, pile them onto a baking tray. Spoon hot chili over the fries and cover with cheddar. Bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese fully melts. Top with green onions and a spoon of sour cream. Serve immediately.
