To anyone who feels spiritually behind others their age

Some people seem so certain. So peaceful. So settled. Meanwhile, I still wrestle. Still question. Still feel unfinished. That’s why Peter encourages me. Even late in life, he admits he needs reminders. In his letters, he doesn’t present himself as “arrived.” He presents himself as still learning how to stand firm. The Bible never suggests spiritual maturity means emotional simplicity. If you feel behind, Scripture gently says this: growing older doesn’t mean growing done.
