My Husband is Patrolling Unpaid, While Illegal Immigrants Get Fed on Time

My husband is a Border Patrol agent. He's considered "essential" and is working in the Texas desert right now, unpaid, chasing cartel scouts. He told me yesterday that the food contracts for the illegal immigrants in their detention facility are "mandatory obligations" and are being paid. So, the people who crossed the border illegally are getting three hot meals a day, while my husband, a federal agent, doesn't know where his next paycheck is. I'm not angry at the immigrants; I'm angry at the hypocrisy. When politicians scream "border security," they won't even pay the men securing it, but they make sure the lawbreakers get fed.
