Philip Rivers says he's grateful for “three bonus games” he never saw coming

Colts QB Philip Rivers acknowledged that Sunday’s game might have been his final NFL appearance after coming out of retirement this season. He said if it was the last one, he’s completely at peace with it — and grateful for “three bonus games I never saw coming.” At age 44, Rivers’s unexpected comeback gave Colts fans something memorable this season, even though Indianapolis lost all three of his starts.
