Top 10 Most Dangerous Hikes in the U.S.

These hikes aren’t just scenic—they’re seriously risky. 😳 Would you dare? 1. Angel’s Landing, Zion National Park, UT 2. Capitol Peak via the Knife Edge, CO 3. Mist Trail + Half Dome Cables, Yosemite, CA 4. Huckleberry Trail, Glacier National Park, MT 5. Camp Muir, Mount Rainier, WA 6. Chinitna Bay, Lake Clark, AK 7. Barr Trail, Pikes Peak, CO 8. Jack Mountain, North Cascades, WA 9. Presidential Traverse, NH 10. Denali, Denali National Park, AK 🎒 We tackled Angel’s Landing last Sept. — hands down one of the most intense hikes I’ve ever done. It’s only 4.5 miles round trip, but the final stretch? A narrow ridge, chains bolted into cliffs, sheer drops on both sides… and crowds. One of our friends stopped at Scout Lookout because of the height, and honestly, I get it. From there on, it’s just you, the chain, and the void. But if you make it to the summit, the 360° view over Zion Canyon is absolutely jaw-dropping. Red cliffs, green valleys—picture perfect. 🍂🧗‍♂️ 📌 A few must-know tips: Don’t go if you have a fear of heights Avoid rainy days—slippery rocks = real danger Wear gloves for the chains Start early to avoid crowds (narrow path + too many people = sketchy) Permit required! Apply in advance 💬 Have you hiked any of these trails? Which one was the scariest—or most unforgettable? Or is there a trail you think should be on this list? Let me know below! ⬇️ #Hiking #Outdoor #AngelsLanding #MostDangerousHikes #ZionNationalPark #OutdoorThrills #TrailLife
