I almost skipped 1 Samuel 3. I didn’t realize how quiet God’s call can be.

1 Samuel 3 feels slow. Nighttime. Lamps burning low. Nothing dramatic. I expected something louder. Then verse 7 stood out. Samuel didn’t recognize God’s voice yet. God was speaking. Samuel just didn’t know it. This chapter reminded me that not recognizing God’s voice doesn’t mean He isn’t speaking.
