If Jesus sees everything, why does silence feel so loud?

I grew up being told that Jesus sees our hearts and hears our prayers, even the ones we don’t say out loud. I want to believe that. But I’ll be honest — there are nights when I’ve prayed for very specific things, very small things, and nothing happened. Not even a sense of comfort. Just silence. So I wonder sometimes: is it that Jesus sees us but doesn’t intervene? Or that we expect answers to look a certain way? Or maybe faith isn’t about being seen at all, but about learning to sit with unanswered prayers. I’m not trying to argue anyone out of belief. I’m still here, still praying. I just don’t think the question is as simple as “yes” or “no,” and I’m curious how others make peace with that silence. #Bible #God #GodOnlyKnows
