Need advice: Strange things happening in my room

Howdy people. This is my first post on newsbreak because I need some advice. For the past three weeks there’s been weird things happening in my home. Specifically in my room. The first thing happened while I was in the shower some time between 2-3 in the morning. I heard my sister say hello very clearly so I just assumed she came into the bathroom that we share. I answered her three times before I looked out of the curtain and saw no one there. After my shower I went straight to her room and she was asleep. I woke her up and asked if she came into the bathroom and she said no. I asked her again the next day and she said no again. A few days later, my alarm woke me up for work and I felt a sharp stinging on the outside of my right knee. When I turned on the light, I noticed a cut in that exact spot (see picture). I ran my fingers across my leg to see if I had scratched myself, but none of my nails could’ve caused it (they’re all rounded and too soft to make a mark). I don’t believe my toe nails could have done it because of where the cut is located. I checked all over my bed and there was nothing in it. I even checked if anything was sticking out of the blanket. My family said the cut looked like I walked by a nail and scraped my knee against it. A few days later my boyfriend stayed over and he told me about this experience; he was falling asleep in my room while I was busy downstairs with my family. He heard me whisper loudly and he instantly shot up from his sleep but I wasn’t there. Last Thursday, I woke up for work and turned on the light in my room. While sitting on my bed I looked down and noticed a mark on my leg that looked like a hand print (see picture). This morning while I’m at work my sister sent me and my other sister this message “Sometimes I hear noises in my names room and I’m like shouldn’t she be at work. And I heard something like the remote fall I swear just now AND something with a chord being pulled around on the wall. Weird note left on my front door months ago — still thinking about it

A few months back, I found a handwritten note taped to my front door. Looked like it was written by an older man — shaky handwriting, kind of old-fashioned penmanship. It said something like, “I used to live here. My wife and I planted the maple tree in the yard. She passed away a few years ago, and I just wanted to see the house one more time.” That’s it. No name, no number. Just that. At first, I’ll be honest, it gave me the spooks. I live alone, and seeing a stranger’s note on the door felt… weird. For a couple days, I kept checking the yard and the porch light before going to bed. But the more I thought about it, the sadder it seemed. This guy probably drove out here just to see a place that still meant something to him. I wish I’d been home — would’ve offered him a cup of coffee and let him look around. Anyway, just wanted to share because it’s one of those little things that stick with you. Kind of makes you realize how attached we all get to certain places, even long after we’re gone. #WeirdFinds #UnexpectedFinds #DidThatHappen

Me (18f) and my dad (61m) both saw the same thing. Not sure what it is or what to do Debunk This

This is my first time posting on reddit and I am also on mobile (heard it can cause some formatting issues?) so sorry if there are any problems but I was told to come here for advice. Some background to my families beliefs. I am spiritual, my mother is Christian orthodox, but a more spiritual denomination of it, and my father is absolutely atheist. The first encounter happend this time last year. I was home alone and sitting in my kitchen at the dining table. From where I was sitting in was able to see: the front door, into the living room, and the backdoor in the living room leading into the garden (just to give some context to the layout). I was eating my food and i looked up and saw a black shadowy figure standing inside the house by the backdoor. I was paralysed with a sense of impending doom. Every time I looked away it seemed to reach towards me so I was unable to move and unable to look away. One thing to note is that after about 5 minuites of me looking at it my cat started yowling at the front door to be let in, one thing about him is that he rarely meows, and on the rare occasion he does it is extremely quiet, this is the first time I had heard him meow like that. After a few more minutes I became hysterical and started screaming and crying. The entire thing lasted about 40 minutes until my mum came home and got me out of my hysterical state. Another thing to note is that when the front door opened and my mum came in i did not recognise it as her (nor as human) and I fell to the floor in fear. She cleansed the entire house and all of the doorways. I put this experience down to being a stress induced hallucination, as i was going through a very stressful time then, or due to the new hormonal medication I had been put on, hallucinations being a rare side effect of. This was until the second encounter, I have been away from home the past two days and when i got back today my dad tood me that he has seen a ghost and when he took a picture of it it dissapeared next time he looked. I was taken aback as he does not believe in the paranormal at all and does not joke about things like this. I asked to see the picture and in the picture I saw exactly what I had seen this time last year. I will attach the image that he took where you will see to the left of it the backdoor where the original instance occurred. I am very worried as my friend pointed out that it has moved from the back door to the living room window, and due to the layout of my house the next entrance/viewpoint is my glass front door. I suppose I am looking for an explanation? Or advice? I am very frightened and am not sure what to do. #DidThatHappen #Creepy

I used to live above a Janissary graveyard in Istanbul. Here’s what happened one night.

Ten years ago, I lived in a tiny old apartment near Taksim Square — built on one of Istanbul’s steepest streets. My back windows didn’t open to a yard like normal... they opened to a graveyard. Just four or five Janissary graves on a hill that was basically unreachable. Creepy, but I didn’t care. Sometimes I’d hear weird noises — cracks, footsteps, bangs — but nothing ever happened. Until one night around 4 a.m., while I was gaming. I suddenly heard a massive bang. Grabbed a knife, searched the house — everything locked, nothing moved. Then I realised I hadn’t checked the bathroom. The door was locked — from the inside. No windows. No vents. Dead centre of the apartment. I freaked out, got my pistol, called the landlady upstairs. She came down with her spare keys. We opened the door… Lights on. Room empty. Later I found out the building was literally on top of an old Janissary graveyard and training ground. Still the weirdest, most unexplainable night of my life. #DidThatHappen #DoYouBelieve #Horror #Unexplained
