Bloomington kids get surprise bikes for the holidays

Forty local kids had their holiday dreams come true when a curtain dropped at the Crestmont Boys & Girls Club, revealing rows of brand-new bikes and helmets—each tagged with a child’s name. Bloomington attorney Ken Nunn, with help from retired firefighter Lee Chapman and community partners, made this joyful moment possible for the 15th year in a row. Over 500 bikes have been given away since the tradition began. The excitement in the gym was contagious, with kids riding laps and even popping wheelies. What’s your favorite way to give back during the holidays? #Cars #Bloomington #CommunityGiving

Asheville kids get a surprise holiday boost

Christmas magic arrived early for Asheville families this year, with BeLoved Asheville and U.S. Cellular teaming up to brighten the season for local kids. Thanks to a $1,500 donation of scooters, Bluetooth speakers, and headphones, dozens of children are set to make joyful new memories—something especially meaningful for those who’ve faced tough times. If you want to spread more cheer, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys at any U.S. Cellular store in western North Carolina. All gifts go straight to BeLoved Asheville for distribution. How do you think small acts like this can change a community? #Safety #Asheville #CommunityGiving
