I skipped Deuteronomy 31. I didn’t realize it was about being replaced.

Deuteronomy 31 feels like transition paperwork. Leadership changes. Moses steps aside. Joshua steps in. I read it quickly. Then verse 6 stayed with me. “Be strong and courageous.” That command wasn’t for the new leader. It was for the people losing the old one. This chapter reminded me that change isn’t only hard for those stepping up. It’s painful for those being left behind.
