Mark_Brown_man+FollowEven the Apostle Peter cared too much about what the "religious elite" thought I used to put the early apostles on such a pedestal, thinking they were flawless super-Christians who never did anything wrong. Then I reread Galatians 2 today. Peter was happily eating with the Gentile believers. But the second the strict, religious Jewish leaders (James' crew showed up, Peter got scared of their judgment and backed away, pretending he didn't associate with the "outsiders." Paul was so furious that he confrontec Peter in front of everyone and called him a hypocrite. It blew mu mind. Even the man who walked on water struggled with the fear of man and church politics. How often do we change our behavior toimpress the "religious cool kids" at church? Thank God His grace covers our hypocrisies, and thank God for friends who will tell us the hard truth when we mess up. #ChurchCulture #ApostlePaul #FaithJourney #AuthenticFaith #Grace10Share

Jerry_Brege+FollowGod's answer to Paul's pain was "No." (And why that brings me peace). Going into this week carrying a lot of heavy burdens. I was reading 2 Corinthians 12 about Paul's "thorn in the flesh." Paul, the guy who raised the dead and healed the sick, had a chronic, agonizing issue. He beqged God three times to take it away. And God's answer was basically, "No. My grace is enough for you, because my power is made perfect in weakness." God didn't remove the pain; He changed the purpose of it. If you are praying for a miracle and hearing silence right now, maybe Goo isn't ignoring you. Maybe He is trusting you with a thorn to display His strength through your survival. You are going to make it through today. #ThornInTheFlesh #ApostlePaul #MondayMotivation #GodsGrace210Share

DidYouKnow+FollowThe Bible never says Paul fell off a horse. Almost everyone pictures this scene clearly. Paul. A horse. A dramatic fall. But the Bible never mentions a horse. Acts says Paul was traveling, a light flashed, and he fell to the ground. That’s it. The horse comes from later art and storytelling, not the text. That matters, because we turned a quiet moment of confrontation into a dramatic accident. Paul’s conversion was not about being thrown off something powerful. It was about being stopped—right where he was. Many believers expect God to speak only through dramatic collapse. But Scripture often shows interruption, not spectacle. If change in your life came quietly, without drama, that does not make it less real. It may make it more biblical. #BibleMisconceptions #MandelaEffect #ApostlePaul #BookOfActs #DidYouKnow325Share
