Honestly, I’m just so exhausted (but this detail about Peter saved my day) 🥺

It’s been one of those weeks where I feel like I’m failing at everything. Work, parenting, keeping the house together... I just feel like I’m sinking. I sat down with my coffee and opened Matthew 14, where Peter walks on water and then sinks because he gets terrified of the wind. The sermons always focus on how Peter failed. "Oh, ye of little faith." But today, I noticed one specific word: Immediately. When Peter panicked and started drowning, Jesus didn't stand there with His arms crossed giving him a lecture on faith while he choked on saltwater. The text says Jesus immediately reached out His hand and caught him. He saved him first, and corrected him later. I know I fall short and fail at something everyday,Im always saying lord please forgive me for that im sorry. I also ask him daily in my prayers to help me deal with toxic people at work and to please guard my lips around them. Sometimes I slip up and say what needs to be said to her(but I probably shouldn't) because shes so slanderous to others behind their back(our never to their face) I have since been very quiet and not spoke much to her since because of her actions...however prayer to the lord is definitely much needed to get me through my work week with her!

I've asked myself many times, can't I do anything right? I asked myself that today actually. But ya know what? The only thing I have to do right is keep praising the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit!
