๐จ OHIO MAN NOW CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AFTER 2 DEPUTIES STABBED IN WAYNE COUNTY ๐จ Wayne County, Ohio โ New court documents reveal Chad Alan Palmer, 34, of Orrville is now facing multiple first-degree felony charges after investigators say he stabbed two Wayne County Sheriffโs deputies during a suspicious-person call. According to prosecutors, Palmer has been charged with: ๐ Two counts of attempted murder ๐ Two counts of felonious assault Authorities say deputies responded to Congress Township on May 12 after reports of a suspicious person. Court records allege Palmer lunged at deputies and stabbed both officers with a knife during a struggle. โ ๏ธ Investigators say Palmer then: ๐ Ran to a nearby shed ๐ Allegedly broke inside ๐ Poured gasoline on himself ๐ Threatened to set the building on fire After a standoff, Palmer was taken into custody without further incident.
