Consecrating My Mouth to God š As I journey through life's challenges, I often struggle with negative self-talk. I catch myself calling myself names when I fail or dwell on past mistakes. š¤ But what if I dedicated my mouth to God each morning..... asking Him to guide my words and speak only what pleases Him? In the Bible it says in Psalm 51:15, "O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise."š This verse reminds me that my words have power, and when I surrender them to God, He can use them for good. When I put my" lips on the altar" each morning, I'm asking God to take control of my tongue. I'm inviting Him to fill my mouth with praise, worship, and thanksgiving. š This simple act can transform my relationships, my thoughts, and my life. In recovery, speaking God's truth over my life can be a powerful tool for healing. Instead of dwelling on past mistakes I made, I can declare God's promises and goodness! I can speak life and hope to myself and others! As I consecrate my mouth to God, I'm reminded of the importance of watching my words. š Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." š I'm choosing life, speaking words that build up and bring joy to those around me. By dedicating my mouth to God, I can break free from negative patterns and speak with purpose. I'm a child of God, and I speak life, hope, and truth. I am loved. I am healing. I am speaking kindness to myself. #selflove #roadtorecovery #healingwords #love #wordsmatter #onewalkerco #coachinglife Artist: Elizabeth Zuniga
