Did you know living near farms using chlorpyrifos could more than double your risk of Parkinson’s? A new UCLA study tracked people in California farm counties and found those with long-term exposure to this insecticide were way more likely to develop the disease. Even mice and zebrafish showed brain damage after exposure! Chlorpyrifos is banned for home use but still sprayed on crops like apples and strawberries.
