It’s hard to imagine that fans are totally split on racist ideology. Excluding and demeaning fellow Americans, because of the color of their skin, or their ethnicity, or their gender identity, or whether they are gay or straight, is contrary to American values. We have fought too many battles, and lost too many lives attempting to eradicate racism and bigotry. We have unleashed lpeople like Abbott and Trump. They have created an atmosphere of hate and division. They don’t even attempt to hide their hatred and bigotry. We have come a long ways, but we have a long ways to go. We must not undo the gains we have made. The right wing wants a permanent underclass composed of black and brown people. They don’t like to see successful people of color.
