watch what you wish for, not sure how things work in other states but in VA. if the company you work for provides insurance you have no choice but to purchase that insurance no matter the cost no matter if the plan doesn't cover anything,you can not go out and buy insurance from any other insurance company, where I work we have 3 insurance tiers, the bottom of those policies has a 9 thousand dollar deductible, only pays between 30 up to 60 percent of prescriptions, it cost the employees 200 every payday witch is 400 dollars a month, the best policy is 5000 dollar deductible 80 percent of prescriptions, and pays 60 dollars on specialist, it cost a looping 800 dollars a month who can afford these prices, its bullcrap, the country should have free insurance for everyone, look at Denmark everyone there has free insurance, if anything county like that can do it then the united states shouldn't have a problem being able to do the same

What I think should happen is the separation of health insurance and employment. You don't get to choose your insurance company, you have to use the one they chose. Lose your job, lose your coverage. That is not acceptable.

I would like to say that health insurance is NOT healthcare. I would also like to state that it is NOT for the government to force citizens to purchase healthcare insurance or to penalize individuals for not having insurance in which that is EXACTLY what the government did when forcing Obamacare/ACA on everyone. Government job should be 1st & foremost to protect citizens from healthcare insurance, healthcare providers, etc from their price gouging which means going after those companies instead of the citizens.

Because your elected officials are more concerned with funneling taxpayer dollars to billion dollar pharmaceutical corporations to increase the values of their stock portfolios than ensuring that the American people can afford health care.
