I'm on SSDI, I've received SNAP in the past. I make a little over $1000 but after my Medicare is taken out it's around $900 a month. Ppl bitching & complaining about what ppl on SNAP are buying tell you what why not trade places? See how far you can make SNAP go for a whole month mind you. When I got SNAP it wasn't enough for whole month. On top of food there's rent, utilities, car insurance, etc & tp, etc. I no longer qualify for SNAP because I make too much cuz like my Medicare, etc. aren't considered. Each state has their own system. I'm in MO. I was homeless for a bit & they were giving me $30 a month In SNAP. So that means I'm spending extra for food. Ppl have blinders on. They want to complain about what some1 else is doing w/out looking at the full picture. Not every1 is the same, not every1 takes advantage of the system & sometimes the system fails those who truly need help. Instead of complaining maybe see what you can do to help? Maybe do real research, fact check
