So, what happened to everyone loving each other and helping each other when times are tough? my home has been a rehab center, a homeless shelter and a half way house. My home has never been a selfish home. I have clothes for people who need and I will feed a hungry person. If you need a shower I have one of those too. Be kind to one another. Today I see so much greed and hate and I didn't grow up like that. Our government sends money to help other countries in times of need. That is great. Our government needs to take care of their people first then help where we can help. I don't know of any countries that help us or would if we needed it. Don't be selfish. I believe in helping when help is needed.🙏

OMG! WELL SAID! I am not against helping others countries but look at us in the U.S. why are so many of us homeless, living from check to check and struggling? I don't want to hear about drugs, bad choices, marriages, etc. things happen. Why don't we uplift each other? We are all a community and as such we should help those of us who may be a bit down at the moment if we are trying to get back on track. I was homeless, lived in shelters, had no clothes, out there scratching, still just getting by but I give my old clothes, shoes, coats and things I no longer can fit or can use to others who are in need. I feel blessed to be doing a bit better. 🙏

It's an attitude change. The pride that many take, in being self-sufficient, prevents them from asking for help when needed. For those who ask - often street peddlers - it's trust. You don't know if a BMW awaits them when their day ends. I've seen them with large rolls of cash when they retire for the day.
