I’m shocked at how different my cat is now after being spayed/neutered…

The cat named Izzy (on the right) got spayed/neutered recently and I’m just so much in shock by how different she is now. Before getting fixed, she was not the one to even be touched, petted or gone near except when it came to food. Let alone did she like or want to be around other cats, she was a very mean girl who would isolate herself above the kitchen cabinets after she would come down and eat and only wanted to be around her owner (my sister). Now she is even coming into my bedroom 😱 and wanting to be on my bed, is letting me pet her and pick her up, she’s even purred for the first time since I have known her for the last 5 years now. She is also getting along with all the cats and her aggression is not even there anymore, she just seems happy, calm and content! Do cats really act like this after getting fixed? Did the fix really cause a drastic change? I’m just so shocked #Cats #CatLife #CatProblems

our girl is the same way since she got fixed..she was mean to the other cats and hated affection but once she was fixed she cant get enough attention. and purrs up a storm too! way nicer cat

I have 7 all fixed,my females changed for the better for the males I think that they changed even more they all are even more cuddly to the point of taking their half out of the bed right down the middle. I love my cuddles now and yes even the early morning wake up calls for food.

We got our Russian blue fixed after she got loose and went on a two week bender. Well, it did the complete opposite to her. She used to be so kind and very loving and sweet and when she got fixed, she became very mean and aggressive, and attacking the other two cats that we have here even attacking her best friend who is a dog who she used to sleep with every dayit has taken three months for her to slowly make a change back to being more calm, but she still is triggered by certain noises and she will attack
