Careful friend as you can easily become the cat woman or man of your neighborhood. My mom did what you are doing, she did so for 15 yrs. Then she passed away and all those cats didn't know where to go for food and water. It took me close to a year to straighten out the situation. I love animals so I made sure they were taken of but other's might not have and that is not a good situation to dump on someone.

I fed stays at a gated community I lived in Santa Ana CA. The community hated me for it. I placed several trail cameras out that I bought it showed rats and mice climbing over a fence where there wer apartments and people were dumping stuff from their barbecues over the fence to the complex where I was living. I had the cameras placed near community trash cans plus it also showed a family of Raccoons. Fish and game, small animals would follow water and food supply from the hills near Santa Ana ending up finding free food from people leaving the trash containers open. People thought it was the cats scratching the outside of their house and tearing screen off windows. Fish and Games said it was the Racoons causing the damage. I also provided how important feral cats were by bring in an exterminator saying the best way to get rid of rodents were feral cats.💕🙏
