I found my dad’s weird Screwdriver. What Is This Metal Stick Inside It?

Because it’s not a screwdriver it’s test light. There’s a wire with a roach clip that plugs into the bottom of it. This wire can be positive or negative depending on what you are doing. Hook up the wire and snap it to the ground of your battery, next put the end that’s really sharp of the light tester to the positive terminal on your battery. The fuse in the middle should glow a little bit. If not you probably need to replace the fuse.

This generation is definitely mentally deficient. Embarrassing.

I own several,and use one of those several times a year. If you still repair your auto's electric system you will most likely need one of those.
