If the only ones who can afford healthcare get it from companies who subsidize 50% of the cost what are the other 50% of people who’s job does not provide it going to do? To make you guys in the comments feel better what about a mandate that ALL employers provide health insurance and let the subsidies from the govt help the less wealthy employers achieve this thru tax breaks to offset some of the expense? When our job provides health coverage you know you are paying only a fraction of the cost while you tell the Waffle House or gig worker to pay it all themselves.
