Immigration Status Limits Opportunity
I never intended to rely on welfare. I work hard, pay taxes, and live more carefully than many. Yet because of my status, I can’t apply for financial aid, basic benefits, or promotions at work. When people say “immigrants are taking advantage,” I almost laugh. Many of us can’t even access basic support—we just want to be seen. #ImmigrationPolicyNow
