I don't think its right to make people work to get food stamps knowing for snap

Want food? Get a job! Want housing? Get a job! Want clothes, phone, cable TV? Get a job! If that doesn’t work then get two jobs!

But you think it's okay for women to make a career of being unwed mothers with 7+ kids and just as many baby daddies?

What??? I’ve seen these snap cards come out with full carts of steaks, lobster soda, high-end bakery items, chips,the list is endless. The shopper with her long painted nails and her newly weaved braids, jewelry everywhere , dressed to the max. cart is full. I work full-time and I can barely feed my family. Something needs to be done and he’s doing it!

The Magas are going to upset now. They 5 to work for their foodstamps now.

I don’t think it right to bust my ass to support my family so one family can sit on their ass watching tv all eating freed food I pay for. The government name this program right, S. N. A. P. because my back is about to snap working for those families and mine.

It takes WORK to put that food in the store. So yes, you need to work to purchase this food. 🤔 No brainer.

Why not if you are an able bodied person and can afford to get food stamps for you and your family then you should have to work and pay taxes like everyone else. On another note I think people who are on food stamps should not be allowed to buy High pricey food such as lobster crabs and steak. Candy chips sodas and energy drinks and not a healthy food item for anyone. As a general question for people who are having trouble dealing with the government cracking down on what you can buy it’s about time.

Do any of you commenting on this even have a clue what it takes to even qualify for SNAP? Your income must be at poverty level to even apply. Now comes a mom with kids making a shit paycheck because wages do not cover basic needs. she already works 40 hours more if she can. she has kids to raise cannot work two jobs. plus child care is expensive and unavailable at night. These are the people you are mad at, not the billionaires Corporations and big business making record profits? I wonder if any of you commenting on this has ever gone hungry so your kids could have another spoonful of food? I have been that mom. I watched my child almost pass out from hunger because we had no food till the food stamps came. Believe me when I say the amount you get does not feed your family for a week let alone a month.

Sorry, maybe it’s typecasting, but too many times I was behind someone in a grocery store dressed in designer jeans, fancy top and shoes, gold necklaces, nice cell phone, and whips out a SNAP card to pay for their food.
