The pain of being asked “So when was the last time the Lions made the Super Bowl?” and having to explain that we’re the ONLY NFC team that’s never even BEEN there. Not “it’s been a while” - NEVER. Watching every other NFC team celebrate their Super Bowl moments while we’re still waiting for our first appearance. The Cardinals got there in '08. The Panthers in '03 and '15. Even the Falcons have been twice. But us? We’ve been mastering the art of hope and heartbreak since 1957. We’ve perfected the “maybe next year” mantra like no other fanbase. And yet here we are, still showing up every Sunday, still believing this could be our year, still rocking our Honolulu Blue with pride.
